Match the print method to the job

DTF prints full-colour designs onto a film that is pressed on the shirt, so it handles photos and gradients on cotton well. Screen printing uses ink through a stencil, the most economical way to print one or two colours on large quantities. Sublimation dyes polyester fibres and only works on light polyester or polyester-coated garments. Heat transfer suits names, numbers and small logos.

Garment choice

Standard cotton is economical for events. Premium cotton feels heavier and lasts longer. Polyester sports fabric wicks sweat and takes sublimation. Round-neck cotton is the usual choice for staff and giveaway shirts.

Print position

Front only is quick and cheap. Front and back suits staff shirts with the logo on the front and a name or slogan behind. Front and sleeve adds a small logo on the arm.

Colour

Choose white or black in the calculator, or choose Colour and specify the shade in your cart notes. Please note that sublimation needs a light garment.
