Volume and speed matter
Campaign posters are printed in large quantities and often on tight timelines. They must be clear, readable and consistent.
Paper
130gsm and 150gsm gloss paper are economical for pasting on walls and boards. Waterproof paper holds up in rain and outdoors and is a better choice when posters will be exposed for weeks.
Size
A3 works on shop windows and notice boards. A2 suits boards and walls. A1 is the standard roadside size.
Design
The candidate's face, name, number or symbol, and slogan must be clear from a distance. Include any legal disclaimers or authorisations required by election rules. Check current regulations from the relevant authority on printing, size limits and permitted placement.
