Colour behind clear acrylic
In an acrylic print, the image is placed behind or printed on clear acrylic, which gives depth, gloss and rich colour. It is a popular modern option for photography, art and corporate lobbies.
Thickness
3 mm suits smaller prints. 5 mm feels more substantial and suits larger sizes.
Mounting
Standoffs are metal spacers that hold the print away from the wall and create a floating effect. Plain mounting fixes the print closer to the wall with a hidden bracket.
Best images
High-contrast, colourful photos and bold graphics look striking. Very dark or low-quality images may lose impact.
Care
Clean with a soft microfibre cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which scratch acrylic.
