Data plates carry more than a number

A data plate is the permanent identity of a machine or panel. It may hold a model, serial number, voltage, capacity, date of manufacture, manufacturer details and a compliance mark. Because there is more text than on a simple tag, larger sizes such as 75 x 50 mm or 100 x 60 mm are common.

Material choice

Aluminium keeps costs sensible for indoor gear. Stainless steel handles heat, weather and washdowns. Brass gives a classic engraved look for equipment in showrooms, marine and heritage settings, though it can dull over time without care.

Marking method

Anodized print sits within the aluminium layer, laser engraving cuts into steel, and etching gives fine text on metal plates. If your data changes per unit, supply a spreadsheet and we will mark each plate accordingly.
