Pad printing uses a soft silicone pad that picks up ink from an etched plate and presses it onto the object. It conforms to curves and small surfaces where other methods struggle.

Typical items

Pens, keychains, bottles, USB drives, toys and small plastic parts. It works well on plastic, metal and glass.

Design notes

Each colour needs its own pass, so designs are limited to a few flat colours. Fine text is possible within the plate's resolution. Ink must be cured and matched to the material for lasting adhesion.
