Small tags for slim devices

Laptop lids, monitor bezels and switch faceplates leave little room. Sizes 40 x 20 mm and 50 x 25 mm fit most equipment without covering ports, vents or manufacturer marks.

Where to place the tag

Choose a flat, clean area that does not heat up, such as the underside of a laptop, the back of a monitor or the side of a system unit. Avoid fan grills and hot vents, where adhesive can soften.

Polyester or aluminium

Polyester gives a neat, low-cost tag for standard office rollouts. Aluminium looks more premium and resists wear where devices are carried around daily, such as field laptops.

Managing IT assets

Barcode tags let an IT team scan devices during onboarding, repair and return. Combine the tag number with the device serial number in your register so that a swapped motherboard or replaced screen does not confuse records.
