Proof that equipment belongs to a project

Grant agreements often require equipment bought with donor money to be marked, tracked and reported on. A properly designed tag makes clear which project and funder the asset belongs to, so a monitoring visit is easier.

Choosing the layout

Donor and org logos places both identities on the tag along with the number. Org logo only keeps a cleaner look when the donor does not require a logo. Check your grant's visibility rules before finalising the layout, since some funders specify logo size or wording.

Numbering and codes

Numbers can follow your project code, for example KE-PRJ-0012. A barcode or QR code lets field officers scan items rather than key in long numbers, reducing errors in reports.
