Placement rules
- Use a flat, clean, dry surface.
- Stay away from heat, moving parts and heavy wear points.
- Keep the code and number visible and unobstructed.
- Use the same position for each asset type.
- Leave a margin so labels do not wrap around curves.
Fixing
Adhesive backing suits most surfaces. Use holes with rivets or screws for rough, oily or outdoor surfaces. Acetone-activated tags give a controlled, strong bond on suitable surfaces.
