About this product
A small sheet with a polite job
A compliment slip accompanies brochures, samples, cheques or invoices with a short note of goodwill. It is quicker and warmer than a full letter and gives your brand a professional tone.
Layout
The slip is generally DL size, one third of an A4 page. Put your logo and contact details at the top or bottom and keep the rest of the space open for a handwritten line. Use the same colours and typeface as your letterhead so that stationery looks like a set.
Paper
100gsm is standard, and 120gsm has a better feel when handwritten with a pen. Uncoated paper is easier to write on than coated.
A5 alternative
A5 gives you space for a longer message or a small promotion, such as a seasonal offer, without becoming a full letter.
