Layout
Put your logo and contact line at the top or bottom in a light tone so it does not compete with handwriting. Ruled lines are optional; blank pads let people sketch. Avoid heavy backgrounds, because they show through and make writing hard to read.
Binding
Sheets are padded with glue at the head so they tear off cleanly and lie flat.
